Defined engagements for interconnected financial decisions.
What We Help you Address One financial Picture. Interconnected Decisions.
Your business, cash flow, investments, taxes, risk, and long-term goals do not operate separately. We evaluate them together, then define the work that matters most.
Financial Diagnostic & Planning
We organize your financial information, clarify your objectives, test relevant scenarios, and identify the decisions that deserve attention first.
The scope may include cash flow, retirement readiness, investments, risk, taxes, estate considerations, and business-owner issues, depending on your situation.
Business Owner Planning
We examine how business cash flow, compensation, benefits, financing, risk, succession considerations, and personal wealth affect one another.
The goal is not to run your company for you. It is to help you understand how business decisions influence your financial life outside the business.
Investment Management
When appropriate, we design, implement, and monitor diversified portfolios through LPL advisory platforms based on your goals, risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and tax considerations.
Investment management may follow a planning engagement, but it is not required to receive diagnostic or planning services
Retirement & Distribution Planning
We evaluate retirement readiness, savings, expected income, Social Security, Medicare, portfolio withdrawals, and potential distribution alternatives.
The analysis is designed to help clarify how different decisions may affect income, taxes, risk, and long-term sustainability.
Tax-Aware Planning
We model the tax implications of financial choices, compare potential alternatives, and identify questions or planning opportunities that may warrant further review.
When tax advice or implementation is needed, we coordinate with your CPA or other qualified tax professional.
Risk & Estate Coordination
We review insurance and liability exposures, beneficiary and titling considerations, estate-planning needs, and the financial effects of major life transitions.
Where legal documents or legal advice are required, we coordinate with the client's attorney or another qualified professional.
How it works A Defined Starting Point. Clear Next Steps.
Most relationships begin with a focused diagnostic. Before work begins, we define the questions to be addressed, the information needed, the engagement scope, and the fee.
1
Introductory call
We begin with a brief conversation to understand what prompted you to reach out, explain how Quotant works, and determine whether there appears to be a reasonable fit.
No financial documents are required for this conversation, and there is no obligation to proceed.
No charge · ~20 min · Video or phone
2
Scope & Engagement Design
If we decide to move forward, we identify the specific questions and planning areas the engagement should address. The scope may include selected elements of personal planning, business-owner planning, retirement, investments, taxes, risk, or estate coordination.
The scope, expected deliverables, timeline, and fee are defined before substantive planning begins.
Defined Scope · Agreed fee · Clear deliverables
3
Diagnostic & Findings
We organize and analyze the relevant information, evaluate the major decisions and interdependencies, and test the assumptions affecting your financial picture.
We then present the key findings, meaningful tradeoffs, and a prioritized roadmap for what should happen now, later, or not at all.
Analysis · Findings · Prioritized next steps
After The Diagnostic Several Paths. Each Optional. Each Clearly Defined.
The diagnostic can stand on its own. Additional work is considered only when it is useful and is separately scoped before it begins.
Path 01No Additional Engagement
You may take the findings and roadmap and move forward independently, with your existing professionals, or at a later time.
There is no requirement to continue into another Quotant service.
Path 02 Targeted Implementation
We may define a limited project to help coordinate and carry out selected actions identified through the diagnostic.
The project scope, responsibilities, timeline, and fee are agreed upon separately.
Path 03Ongoing Financial Planning
When continued review would add value, we may establish an ongoing planning relationship to monitor progress, revisit assumptions, and address new decisions as circumstances change.
Path 04 Investment Management
When appropriate, we may discuss an investment-advisory relationship involving portfolio design, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing advice through an LPL advisory platform.
Each option is separate and defined before additional work begins.
